Cause Baby, You're A FIREWORK...make 'em go OH, OH, OH!! // Sales and Giveaways (Vol.1)

You just gotta ignite the light,

and let it shine.

Just own the night,

like the Fourth of July.

'Cause baby you're a firework.

Come on show 'em what you're worth.

Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"

As you shoot across the sky-y-y.

Baby you're a firework.

Come on let your colors burst.

Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"

You're gunna leave 'em
fallin' down-own-own.

Firework - Katy Perry

I have been a Katy Perry fan since she hit the scene with the sassy single, "I Kissed A Girl." There is something so fresh and surprising about her. You can tell that she knows how to have a sense of humor and make fun of herself to keeps things light. I think that Katy Perry is a one-of-a-kind artist and truly stands out from the rest of the Beyonces, Britneys and Taylor Swifts. She really knows how to work the crowd and looks so magical on stage when she performs. I am so excited to say that I will be able to see her in concert here in the Twin Cities later this month!

There's also no surprise that I like

her since she has a very noticeable

PIN-UP signature style and we

all know that I love pin-ups!

My Halloween Katy Perry Costume!

One of her recent ballads "Firework" popped into my head when I was thinking of the 4th of July holiday weekend. I used the lyrics as inspiration for my latest ETSY TREASURY and this blog post. The lyrics promote feeling proud of who you are no matter what and letting the whole world see it. What a great anthem to live by!
